iDFX is a small and lightweight tool that enhances the sound quality of your music files. It works in conjunction with iTunes as its main purpose is in fact to increase the audio quality of the tracks that you copy onto your iPod or iPhone and listen to using these devices.

What I personally like about this small tool is the fact that it can enhance the quality of both MP3 and AAC audio files. The batch processing capabilities of the registered version (iDFX Plus) are also a very handy feature, as they allow enhancing the sound of entire iTunes library with just one single click. iDFX is also a reliable tool that offers a noticeable sound improvement, thanks to the fact that, in order to enhance their quality, it actually re-encodes the audio files using a proprietary technology. It also levels the volume of the processed tracks, thus eliminating the well-known problem of songs in a playlist having different volume grades.

iDFX is also easy-to-use and neat, not only lightweight and small. There are no intricate settings or complex menus and the interface is very simple, therefore anyone can use it without any problems.

In conclusion, iDFX can make your music sound truly great with no effort. It's truly effective and yet simple and lightweight.

How can IDFX magically increase the audio quality of the lossy format MP3 or AAC tracks. It can only play around with pre amp and equalizer settings and probably save using its software as the track looses or leaves some details from uncompressed format when converted to MP3. Lost can never be regained unless an uncompressed file is converted to lossless files like FLAC.
